About Solutions Service

Ever spent hours online looking for a module or a solution to solve your problem without actually knowing wether such a module really exists. Ever thought that it'd be easier that if you could broadcast a message to the DNN community and receive response rather quickly?

This is what Request for a Solution Service is all about.

Since the release of DotNetNuke 3, there has been released

  • 255 commercial DotNetNuke 3 modules
  • 258 commercial Skins for DotNetNuke
    as of : 7/27/2005 (source: www.snowcovered.com)

Trying to browse through all those might be a tedious task. And it doesn't make it at all easier if you are looking for a solution for a special case. The chances are, there is no such module, or then you wouldn't find it even if you looked for it very hard.

So why not ask the experts? The very same people who spend their time developing the modules. They keep their eyes open for new modules all the time and they exchange ideas with other developers. As the developers know the best what their module can do, when you fill in a form and describe your problem, the developers will respond if they have a module for the task or then might just inform you of it's whereabouts.

At the same time, you expose your problem to the community of developers. This brings new ideas of the real world problems and new modules can be developed to cover existing problems.
